Happy New Year Guys & Dolls .... 2007 brought forth many great things (including this blog) but I am elated it's the New Year - it's time for renewal and I can't wait to see what '08 throws my way!

Back to business at hand --- there are some DATES To Remember!
From the haute couture shows to hot fetes around the globe, there's already plenty to get excited about in 2008. Pencil in the most fashionable happenings for the coming weeks now:
JANUARY 12 - 16: THE boys show us how it's done, as the designers showcase their autumn/winter 2008-9 collections in Milan.
JANUARY 17 - 20: MENSWEAR moves on to Paris.
JANUARY 21 - 24: PARIS remains the focus of the fashion world, showcasing the most beautiful dresses ever as the haute couture shows dominate the catwalks.
JANUARY 28: TOPSHOP unveils the latest designer capsule collections, from the studios of Christopher Kane, Marios Schwab, Todd Lynn and Richard Nicoll.
FEBRUARY 1 - 8: NEW YORK kicks off the womens ready-to-wear shows. Scottish wunderkind Jonathan Saunders will show in the Big Apple for the first time, while Halston will make its long-awaited 21st Century debut.
FEBRUARY 6: GUCCI throws a star-studded party - co-chaired by the likes of Madonna, Frida Giannini, Drew Barrymore, Selma Hayek and Sarah Jessica Parker - in New York to celebrate the opening of its new flagship store.
FEBRUARY 10 - 16: LONDON FASHION WEEK takes centre stage. Ones to watch? Krystof Strozyna and MeadhamKirchhoff, the two labels receiving TopShop's New Generation sponsorship for the first time.
FEBRUARY 18 - 24: MILAN FASHION WEEK, where all eyes will be on the first collection for Valentino by Alessandra Facchinetti.
FEBRUARY 26 - MARCH 4: THE final - and arguably chicest - leg of the fashion world tour takes place in Paris.
FEBRUARY 28: THE crème de la crème of the worlds of fashion and film converge in LA for the 80th annual Academy Awards ceremony, aka the Oscars - and one of the most glamorous evenings of the year.
