Colour Me Dundas

COULD Peter Dundas be just the man step into the breach at Emilio Pucci?
That's the word circulating in Florentine fashion circles according to WWD, which today reports that Pucci is engaged in talks with the Norwegian-born designer, who left Ungaro last July and currently heads up Parisian furrier Revillon.
No official comment has been made, however, and when asked about the rumour Dundas merely responded: "I'm very happy at Revillon".
Indeed, no official comment has been made at all about Matthew Williamson's impending departure from Pucci, although it was reported last month that he will leave his creative directorship - a role he has held since 2005 - behind once his contract ends in the autumn in order to concentrate on building his burgeoning own-name brand.
