Blogettes and Gents, this just in from the tents: the designers have spoken, and the usual bare leg has been all but banished. The new trend for Fall 2010 seems to be the polar opposite: bring on the haute hosiery! The dames at Rodarte, Marc Jacobs, Max Azria, and a slew of other fashion luminaries have all shown covered legs for fall. Bold and playful leg-wear has made it down the runway and, even better, we have the online haven sure to bring you sheer delight with it's amazing assortment of hosiery : Spotted in the tents (frankly all over the city) on fellow fashion revelers were sheer tights, graphic plaids and the always faithful matte black or opaque numbers. On the runway, designers made a statement with gold, gunmetal and metallic lurex tights and mixed some intricately crocheted tights with over sized colorful leopard prints (we can not get enough of the Jonathan Aston leopard print tights - see left). This crisp new hosiery choices look modern and chic on the models' long, lean legs; we can't wait to see it translated onto the sidewalk. With it's all possible from Haute Hosiery Collections like Emilio Cavallini to tummy busting Spanx Tights you can find it all on this amazing site! Ladies, take note - for A/W 10 gorgeous gams will be the focal point. Added bonus: leg-wear is the easiest and cheapest alternative to splurging on the latest Balmain shoes, - and with it's just a click away!
