Miuccia Prada's Resort collection really resonated with me. From the fun, retro prints to the naughty girl silhouettes to the big hair and rouge lips it's all a girl could ask for! Here are some of my favorite looks and the haute accessories (from I would pair with it!
This collection is all about more is more with an abundance of prints, accessories and higher then high shoes. Why not add a few (or a lot) of bracelets by Tom Binns ??

Nothing says daytime diva then a pair of nude opera length gloves, bigger then big shades and a dynasty be damned statement necklace!

Mon Petites, I don't know about you but I have been working uber hard on my gams (thanks to Patrick Goudeau) and I do plan on showing them off all year round! These heady seventies hot pants have my name all over them - pair them with the must have Marni earrings and it's golden!

There's nothing more iconic then a trench and this uber fun take from the 2011 resort collection would look absolutely lovely with a great ring and a killer pair of heels!

Daphne Guinness enroute from the Chanel Show

Daphne Guinness is FASHION! With that being said I'm obsessed with this photo of Phe Phe (as I refer to her in my imaginary land) leaving the Chanel Show on a motorcycle - while I have a fear of those machines that doesn't mean I wouldn't want to emulate the style of bikers who in my book have hardcore style for days! Take a look at some of my own 'Biker Chic' picks you....

Cat Burglar Barbie by Christian Louboutin

It's no secret that I have an affinity for Christian Louboutin but for Barbie too. Since I could remember I was transfixed by her grace, charm, beauty and killer wardrobe. The collaboration between Christian Louboutin and Barbie tickles my fancy like no other. While there are about 3 designs my ultimate fave is the Cat Bulgar - she is the epitome of whoa! While I'm on a strict budget I have seriously considered splurging on this treasure... what do you think?
Justify Full Christian Louboutin for Barbie 'Cat Burglar' doll is literally what dreams are made of. Barbie wears a black catsuit and Differa sandals, comes with 3 extra pairs of mini Louboutin shoes; Miss ankle boots, Claudia peep-toes and Altameche knee-high boots, each with a box and shoe bag. Barbie comes with a stand and is presented in a brown designer-style box with a copy of Christian and Barbie's travel journal. I seriously am pondering doing this look for Halloween!!!!!

Astounding Givenchy......

Picture the gilded set of rooms in the Place Vendôme where the genius that is Riccardo Tisci showcased his breathtaking fall couture collection for Givenchy. While many use the lexicon 'couture' from sweatsuits to day old flip flops Mr. Tisci truly achieved his Haute Couture vision through cut, cloth, and extraordinarily elaborate ornamentation.
If ever I was to wed I would want my dress with a cascade of dégradé ostrich feathers...
Tisci's signatures of dégradé, lace, and fringe-work were on full display for this collection and he did not disappoint.
Fall 2010 Couture

Mr. Tisci's inspiration was Frida Kahlo and her three obsessions: religion, sensuality, and, given the painter's lifelong battle with spinal pain, the human anatomy. The zipper pulls were little bones, a belt was a spinal column re-created in porcelain.

The dominant motif of the collection was the skeleton, laid out flat in the lace appliquéd on a long tulle column, or rendered in three dimensions in obsessively dense clusters of crystals, pearls, and lace on the back of a jacket in double silk duchesse satin with a tiny ceramic skull sprouting angel wings.
Fall 2010 Couture

As breathtaking the gowns, jackets and coats were from the front the back of the pieces were just as beautiful as well.

Art, beauty and fashion are all relative and subjective to each person and it truly amazes me what he has done with ideology of Frida Kahlo, romanticism and death is genius.

From painstakingly patchworked leather coat or the dress in Chantilly lace where the pattern of the lace had been duplicated in appliquéd leather this collection truly amazed and reinforced my belief in fashion!
