With the Fall/Winter season just around the corner so many LPB staffers weighed-in with their soon to be -winter pick-me-ups during the season. Today, we're giving a shout-out to great recessionista-sale scores, warm , cozy and let's keep it haute for fall finds and our ultimate fave thermal fashions!

On my end, three new items have been floating my boat. I'm loving the wide-brimmed vintage Jean Barthet hat I nabbed at a sale last week, which is chic in an Amish farmer kind of way. Another hit is the lightweight canvas weekend bag my adorable nephew gave me for my birthday this month. And of course I raided Damart's online mecca to load up on some must needed thermal fashions for the chilly winter season ahead. Who could resist those wallet friendly thermal goodness? They're like wearable a hug from a loved one.

As a complete credit card debt cliché, we here at LPB shouldn't be shopping - but our season-long quest for a winter finds recently brought us to Damart's where we all stocked up on vests, tops and pants -they're lightweight, so they're good for year-round. That makes me feel a little bit better about splashing out and not breaking the bank - Suze Orman would approve.

It's been a long, cold winter and we're already dreaming about the next one to come. Have we up and lost our minds? No, rather, we discovered Damart and the brands' bevy of downright chic thermal ladies range of vest, tops and pants. Whether your look is structural, dark and tweedy or fluid, languid and muted, these pieces from Damart may just make us look forward to that first cold snap.
