Les petites, who doesn't love breakfast? It can be sweet, it can be savory - on a good day it can be both and for added measure you can add some booze and it's really a party! With all the splendor and delight in the first meal of the day I haven't really found a Breakfast themed tome that really celebrated the morning repast for all it's sumptuousness until now. Clarkson Potter's America's Best Breakfasts Favorite Local Recipes from Coast to Coast is not just a cookbook, it's a culinary anthology showcasing the best of the best of breakfast from all over the United States. And it's not just eggs and waffles either les petites! There's kimchi pancakes, garlic fried rice and cannoli french toasts recipes from beloved restaurants from around the country that seem like they can be recreated at home. It's a love story plain and simple. Each recipe/ restaurateur that is featured is truly showcased in such an exquisite manner one can not help but fall in love with all things breakfast! I truly appreciate and enjoy the fact that these delectable, mouthwatering fares are now immortalized in this book and can be shared and passed down for breakfasts to come.
